Olympic Sprinter Stays in Japan After Belarus Tries to Send Her Home

Kristina Timanovskaya, a Belarusian sprinter, said she sought protection in Japan after the Belarus Olympic Committee tried and failed to send her home, following an Instagram post in which she criticized her coaches for registering her for the wrong event.
